Increase Your Clients

There was a time when I couldn't get a client or worse yet sell a client, if my life depended on it.  Have you felt like this before?

I'm from a farm, wasn't taught sales training growing up, so learned early on, read books, took courses and then learned the old school way from building multiple companies and being in the trenches.

Now years later, I LOVE jumping on or going into a sales presentation with a client, its one of my favourite things to do!

You looking to get your first client or increase the clients you already have?  Are you looking to INCREASE your closing rate?

Whichever capacity it may be, below I'm going to share some gold gems that work!

1.  Don't try so hard! When you want to close, focus on value and how you can solve the problem your client came to you for.  FOCUS on this, over just getting there money.  When you provide value, everyone WINS!

2.  Don't talk to much! Ask more quality directed questions and quit trying to coach the client on a sales call.  Your goal is to find out there goals and challenges, then present how you can help them crush it.  The potential client sitting in front of you will lose interest, heck you may lose the sale if you talk to much, be aware of when your crossing this boundary.

3.  Be like SHERLOCK HOLMES!  Always ask questions, dig into your clients goals, find out why they want these goals, understand what holds them back, what challenges get in there way, look at it like an investigation in learning all you can about that person and then SHUT YOUR MOUTH, LISTEN and TAKE NOTES! 

I always look at it, as quality over quantity.  I'd sooner have 5 sales calls, be present, focused and understand all I can about them and close them all, then to have 15 sales calls, be rushed, follow a script and close only 3 of them.  I see this happening with many coaches, who do these huge lead generation programs and get completely booked with calls in a day, but at the end close only one, maybe two, or none, because they were rushed, not present or worse yet they weren't the ideal client to begin with.

The key to succeeding with these tools above is practice, practice, practice.   Clients want to know you have there best interest in mind, come from that place and watch your clients increase at rates like never before!
